Black Glutinous Rice or Pulut Hitam is usually found as a warm or cold dessert in hawker centers or Chinese dessert shops around Singapore. It has a deliciously toasty flavour which gives you a warm and comforting feeling.

In our series of SG local flavoured cakes, we would be incorporating 2 commonly found aspects into one cake! They are pandan and black glutinous rice! Both flavours compliment each other very nicely and you would be sure to enjoy every bite!

The cake consist of 2 thick layers of fragrant, fluffy pandan cake layered with pulut hitam jelly. The marriage of flavours in this cake works so well that one slice is not enough!
