Breakfast and Healthy Snack Ideas On The Go

Looking for something healthy to kick start your day or to munch at work/ school? Here are a few simple to prepare healthy snack/ breakfast ideas that would give you an energy boost!

1. Banana Milkshakes

Blend half a frozen banana with half cup of milk and there you have a simple breakfast treat that is naturally sweet and full of potassium!

2. Chia Pudding

Take 2 table spoons of chia seeds and soak them in milk/ water/ almond milk till they form a jelly-like coating around them. Add in your favourite fruits- berries, bananas, apples, coconut and you are good to go! You can add in some dried fruits too to give it some sweetness!

3. Trial Mix

Create your own on the go healthy trial mix which consist of your favourite nuts, dried fruits and maybe a few chocolate nits to ease that sweet tooth cravings. Throw in some roasted coconuts for that extra crunch and bite

4. Overnight Oats

This, you have to prepare it overnight but the preparation time is only at most 3 minutes! Soak a cup of oats in 1.5 cups of milk/ almond milk/ water and put it in the fridge. If you want to add some sweetness to your overnight oats, add in a tablespoon of honey. You can play around with different flavoured oats by adding in matcha powder, cocoa powder or even coffee powder. You can also consider soaking your oats in your favourite tea instead of adding milk in. Its all up to your personal preference really.

The next day, you can have the oats as it is but if you want to add some colour and more flavour to your oats, feel free to throw in some nuts, berries, bananas or chocolate chips!

5. Yogurt

Prepare a delicious and healthy parfait by throwing in some berries, sesame seeds, bananas. Crush your berries so that they give the yogurt some flavour if you are using Greek or plain yogurt.

6. Breakfast Burrito


Get some wraps and fill it up with scrambled eggs, maybe some leftover chicken from yesterdays’s dinner, fresh tomatoes and lettuce and you have a filling and nutritious breakfast on the go!

7. Banana Muffins

Pre-bake a few banana muffins and you can have it on the go!
